Actress Angela Bassett shows us how to get our groove back with a classic french twist. With added volume at the crown and side-swept bangs this hairstyle will give any look an elegant touch. This is a great sleek Updo for Women Over Age 50

  • The Beatles

I’m in a high school production of All Shook Up, a 1950′s musical that is done entirely to the music of Elvis.

I have two of characters throughout the show:
    1. The town drudge, Henrietta: a bitter, sorrowful, middle-aged woman who is known for being the loneliest woman in the town
    2. One of the famed Andrews Sisters

I also may have a character who is a teenager or a young adult for one or two scenes, but I don’t know yet.

My hair is thick, blonde/brown, and a little longer than shoulder length. I don’t have bangs, and my hair isn’t layered.

What should I do for each? We’re really working on having all aspects of it look period… so what kind of stuff should I do? A bun? a ponytail? an updo?
