I’m a 16 year old girl, my dad is Asian and my mom is British. My eyes are a really odd shape and it looks like I am sad, they are close together, but not tiny. They look like both my mom and dad’s eyes together. My nose is like my moms, kind of big, but not huge. My mouth I got from my dad, full lips, but not wide. The worst thing about my face is the fact that my chin is off to one side more, so half my face looks wider than the other/one side looks swollen, and my smile is weird looking.

My body is like my moms. I played a lot of sports till about 2 years ago, when I got very self-concision and quit public school. My thighs have a lot of muscle, so they aren’t nice and small, and I hate them.

Should I start wearing makeup? Get surgery? I just want to be pretty. For 3 years I have been scared to be around others my age, avoided the camera, deleted every picture my parents managed to take of me age 12+. When people talk to me I can’t make eye contact , i cant say much and i leave as soon as possible. I have always wondered what makes an ugly face, and what makes a pretty face. I know mine doesn’t look good. But I am not sure what to do to make it look better. I’m lost and confused.

I don’t hate everything about myself! I have very long brownish black hair that is very soft and looks red in the sun, but who really notices hair, I have also never been overweight and I have no acne.

+ No one has called me ugly to my face, but someone has said I look like a boy.

I have really, REALLY thick, long, and slightly wavy hair. Because summer is coming up, I want to experiment with new hairstyles before school starts. I don’t really do much with my hair, just side braids, ponytails… stuff like that. Also, this may sound very weird, but when I put my hair up into a bun or a ponytail, I don’t brush back the top part of my hair. I leave the part there. For some reason, I’ve just never done that. Should I do that? Does it look better? So please maybe give some websites with good hairstyles that are fairly easy to do. Nothing with heat please. And also, I would like your opinion on that last question about brushing my hair back. Thanks c:
