My hair is a gingery reddy brown shade, it’s not bright ginger – it is brown underneath and sometimes the very top goes slightly golden. My hair goes down to just below my chest and I have a side fringe that has grew out. My natural hair is curly, sometimes it appears frizzy when you look at it because it’s not naturally straight (I mean, if you brush it – it goes straight, but fuzzes out slightly) and when I leave my hair and don’t brush it, it has nice curls in it so I leave it like this. But it’s still so boring and I feel like it’s not very pretty or suits my face shape. I don’t like having my hair back, I feel like my face is too round for that. I will never cut my hair short until I’m older because it’s taken me a while to grow it out. My hair is healthy, I take good care of it – give it home made masks, don’t straighten it any more – if I do it’s only for special occasions, shampoo and condition my hair every 2 days (have a bath but put my hair up – it dries out if I wash it everyday).
I straightened my hair today thinking it would look nice but even with that, it makes my hair appear flat and does nothing whatsoever for my face shape. It looks nice at first, but when I get home from school it just appears horrible and flat. I just don’t know what to do with it any more. I see girls at school pull off their hair with it back/up, curly, straight, seem to have natural volume, etc. Then I look at my hair… it’s just boring and not pretty.

Can anyone help please? What can I do? Something that’s easy as I don’t know how to french braid, only normal braiding… thanks ;(
