3 Easy Ways to get Perfect Waves Overnight

Tired of your boring wash-dry-repeat cycle? Wash your hair at night, ditch the heat and bring on the waves – and make your pillow do all the work.

See below for how to get waves overnight.

Braided waves

After washing, towel dry your hair, then spray all over with a texturizing spray. Roughly split your hair into two sections, then loosely Dutch braid each side to the end, securing with a clear elastic. Gently loosen the braid by pulling out small sections of hair, then sleep on your braids overnight.

In the morning, remove the elastics and gently unweave your braids. Finger comb your waves, then spritz your locks with a medium-hold hairspray like Big Sexy Hair’s Spray & Stay.

Twist & pin waves

Pin the circle against your scalp with two bobby pins, crossing them over each other. Repeat until all of your hair is twisted and pinned against your scalp, then sleep on it. In the morning, remove the bobby pins and gently finger-comb your strands. Spray all over with a medium-hold hairspray like Big Sexy Hair’s Spray & Stay.
