The twist is one of the two ways I know to braid two strands. The other is the herringbone. Note that if you are doing the twist as a classic or a crown, you can choose to add hair to just the bottom side of the braid. To start, take two pieces and twist one over the other. Add a piece of hair to the bottom section, and twist again.
